The route of my tour was as follows: Dhaka-Sundarbans-Dhaka-Sreemongal-Dhaka, over 9 days. Our tour guide was Eyasin Papon who owns the company. If you’re looking for an intimate guide through this amazing country then PathFriend is the one for you. It was almost like being taken around by a local friend, rather than an organised tour company. Papon is a very friendly, relaxed and accommodating person who will stretch the tour to fit your wants and needs. From start to finish I felt like I was in good hands and always felt like I was having a privileged experience in a country that is relatively difficult to travel by yourself. Everything went smoothly and all of the staff we met along the way were equally friendly and accommodating as Papon is himself. Bangladesh is a very fascinating country to travel and security is appropriate along the way, especially when hanging out with the tigers!! Although my trip was short I had such an amazing time and will definitely go again to see the parts I was unable to see on this trip. A lot of this was due to PathFriend having a great approach to dealing with foreigners wanting to see their wonderful country. Don’t even look anywhere else. Money well spent. Bangladesh is amazing and so will be the experience you get from having Papon show you around!.
